Human Craters, curated by Nina Horisaki-Christens. An oblique exploration of the human figure, the works in Human Craters hint at the human form by placing it at the edge of the frame, removing its details, or presenting only its imprints. Approaching their subjects in manners ranging from the semi-reverent to the comical, the binding factor within the exhibition is an exploration of the remnants of a human presence. Opens January 22 6-8pm.

Stamp Book, a limited edition artist book Line Up proposed to Cabinet Magazine has been published and includes pieces by a range of excellent artists. The book includes removable art-stamps depicting items that are illegal to send via USPS mail.

Guise Closing Performance, Melbourne, AU
Tara Gilbee and Robert de Saint Phalle, two artists from opposite sides of the world, having never met, create work that addresses how the self perceives the unknown other in physical and virtual space. Exploring myriad methods of projecting and receiving identity including portraiture, identity theft, performance, and installation, the collaboration will mark their progression toward knowing their fellow collaborator and the nature of the project itself. Performance runs 6/26/08 6-8pm.
